Note: These rankings are based on unrounded totals which virtually eliminates ties between players or teams.
* The Broncos have overtaken the Colts for the top spot in Total Points due to their comfortable lead in Total Points on defense (all this information is available in the PDFs above).
* The Chiefs have jumped from 8th to 3rd in the overall standings after a strong showing against the Lions. These two teams are the only ones that boast a top seven ranked offense and defense in Total Points Per Play.
* The Bears offense is currently ranked 4th in Total Points Per 60 Plays. Caleb Williams was sacked a league-high 68 times last season, but has been sacked only 10 times in 5 games so far in 2025. A revamped offensive line, better playcalling by their new coach Ben Johnson, and refined play by Williams are driving this offensive improvement.
* Bijan Robinson has taken a massive lead amongst running backs with 36 Total Points, 11 points more than second place. He leads the league in average yards after contact (4.1) and broken/missed tackle rate (34%).
* If you want to see the Total Points leaders among offensive linemen, defensive tackles, linebackers, kickers, and punters, download the PDF within the e-mail.

* Jonathan Taylor has led a high-powered Colts rushing attack that ranks 1st in rushing Total Points Per 30 plays, and this is in part due to him leading the league with 415 yards after contact on rushing attempts. He also ranks 5th in broken/missed tackle rate at 25%.
Matchups and Mismatches
When we look at matchups by unit and compare the teams playing a particular game, there are intriguing matchups and mismatches each week. The Total Points PDF has this for each game in the NFL in a given week.
You can also find much of this information at the SIS DataHub Pro.
Here are some things we noticed:
(All references to rankings are in the context of Total Points Per Play)
* Jaxson Dart may be in for a rough time, as his 20th-ranked passing blocking unit is facing the Broncos, the number one pass rushing unit in the league coming off a nine sack performance against Justin Fields and the Jets.
* The Texans, boasting the number one passing offense in the league, will look to take advantage of the Seahawk’s weakened secondary, which currently ranks 26th in pass coverage.
* There looks to be a fun matchup in the trenches with the Eagle’s 2nd-ranked pass blocking unit facing the Viking’s 6th-ranked pass rushing unit.
* The Patriots will look to get their last place rushing attack going against the Titans and their worst ranked run defense unit in the league.
