2025 SIS NFL All-Rookie Teams
Before we get to our usual leaderboards and such, we wanted to take a moment and highlight our 6th annual NFL All-Rookie Teams. The teams were selected using a combination of advanced stats and voting among members of our football operations staff, with emphasis placed upon SIS’ player value stat, Total Points.
We crowned Jaxson Dart as our Offensive Rookie of the Year and Carson Schwesinger as our Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Note: These rankings are based on unrounded totals which virtually eliminates ties between players or teams.
* 10 of the teams that finished top 11 in our team Total Points Per Play rankings are in the playoffs (the Lions were the lone omission). Every playoff team besides the Panthers also finished 10th or better on offense or defense.
* Despite finishing first in defensive team Total Points, the Browns were not particularly close in making the playoffs. Every other team in the top 10 did, signifying that defense is back in a big way. If the Browns can improve their offensive unit, they may find themselves back in the playoffs sooner rather than later.
* As one of the breakout players this season, George Pickens finished 5th on the wide receiver Total Points leaderboard and amassed 14 more Total Points than his running mate CeeDee Lamb. All eyes will be on Jerry Jones and the Cowboys to see how they handle his contract situation.

Stafford finished 2nd in EPA, 3rd in success rate and boom percentage, and the lowest in bust percentage.
* Bijan Robinson finished as the runaway leader among running backs in Total Points. His 48 missed tackles are the most by anyone on rushes since we began tracking the stat in 2018.
* Myles Garrett is the new sack king with 23 sacks, most in NFL history. He did it with the highest pressures above expectation, which is a testament to how much of a destructive force he is on the field. According to Next Gen Stats, he had a get off time of 0.23 seconds on his record-setting sack, the fastest recorded this season.
Matchups and Mismatches
When we look at matchups by unit and compare the teams playing a particular game, there are intriguing matchups and mismatches each week. The Total Points PDF has this for each game in the NFL in a given week.
You can also find much of this information at the SIS DataHub Pro.
Here are some things we noticed:
(All references to rankings are in the context of Total Points Per Play)
* James Cook finished as this season’s rushing yards leader. He and the Bills’ 2nd-best rushing attack will look to gain the edge in their matchup against the Jaguars and their 2nd-best run defense.
* The 49ers and Eagles rank 3rd and 7th in passing Total Points. The Eagles may have a better time defending the other team however, ranking 7th in pass rush and 4th in pass coverage. The 49ers meanwhile rank 25th and 17th in those same categories.
* Capping off the Wild Card slate is a matchup between the Texans and Steelers in what should be a fun battle in the trenches. The Texans rank 1st in pass rush while the Steelers rank 1st in pass blocking.
